What to do with components when wall-mounting a TV

My husband and I are mounting an LCD TV in our master bedroom. We’re thinking of wall-mounting it with a swing-arm mount in the corner of the room but we don’t know what to do with the DirecTV box and the DVD player. My husband suggested building a corner shelf that he would mount to the wall just below the TV and putting them on that shelf. I’m looking for a more elegant solution, and just wondering if anyone can come up with something cool. Thanks!

Here’s a good swing-arm mount:

Have you tried wall furniture? Try looking at Omnimount or Sanus…

Or you can also go to your local furniture shop and inquire about wall furniture. They look good, especially if you pick the right one for your decor.
